Aluminum Casting Grinding

Our grinding department includes four belt grinding stations for fast clean up of the aluminum castings such as parting line removal, gate removal, etc. Also the aluminum sand foundry has a grinding station that includes many high speed air tools for the more detailed clean up of the aluminum castings.

Aluminum Casting Cleaning & Shot Blasting

Our aluminum sand castings can also be cleaned using our 6 cubit foot capacity steel shot blasting machine. This process not only helps remove sand and cleans the aluminum castings but it also produces an attractive and uniform matte finish on the aluminum castings. The aluminum sand castings are often left with this shot blast finish, but can also be painted or powder coated for aesthetics and greater protection from the elements.
